This Sunday my daughter and I attended a fun cooking class at Whisk Cooking School. They offer hands-on cooking classes and parties for both children and adults. The space was bright cheery and there were thoughtful touches throughout like adorable pint-sized red polka dot aprons and cheerful flower arrangements. The real gem, however, was Chef Katie Leaird who skillfully kept the students focused and the atmosphere fun and light. The kids made a fruit crumble, a cute take on ants-on-a-log and delicious chocolate chip cookies. In between cooking the kids enjoyed crafts and stories and sat down to a picnic of their masterpieces. We were sent home with recipes as well as a goody bag of treats. A sweet way to end the weekend!
